Introduction
Bellatrix Systems, Inc. is a private company that develops manufactures, and markets high technology electronic control units, service indicators, card readers and semi-automatic vending units. Bellatrix products employ battery operated, embedded 'low-power' technologies to provide data acquisition, encryption security, and information management. Bellatrix products are marketed worldwide in the Restaurant, Nightclub and Bar, Newspaper, International Courier, and Biotechnology industries.
Technologies
Founded in 1986, Bellatrix is an applied technology company that has successfully developed patented "Embedded Low-Power" systems. This technology involves the use of special electronic components which operate at very low voltage (3 volts) over an extended time of use (4-6 years). Incorporated into the systems that Bellatrix have engineered is the novel use of Lithium power cells to act as the principal energy source for these control units. The designs and the application of these systems are patented and trademarked.
In addition to this technology, Bellatrix has developed unique computer software programs, trademarked and patented for use with the Bellatrix control systems. The mechanical design of the control units is also protected by patent and trademark agreements. The principal technological advantage of the Bellatrix "Embedded Low-Power" systems is derived from their longevity and their durability under extreme environmental conditions.
